B.A. English Literature
Today, I graduated from university. I have a degree. My diploma is just laying there, in between my computer and my Hello Kitty mini-fridge, as if it has always been a part of my piles of junk that needs to be gone through at a later date.
I bought Sabrina (the Audrey version, which I prefer) at Barnes and Noble, but right now I’m going to lay down with my drink from Starbucks and watch more Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel.
My blue card came in the mail a few days ago. After the new year, I’ll start searching for jobs in the UK. I’ll be there from the end of June.

Even though I already commented on your LJ…
(I like to spread the commentage around.)
My diploma (which I only got a month ago… and then, only because I sent my Uni a very irate e-mail with a signature including my department info… -I think they thought I was a professor, and who was I to correct them?) is sitting in a teetering pile of old journal articles and class notes on my dresser. Brandon still hasn’t received his, although I plan on having a silly little party when it does come.
If you end up in the UK (*crossing fingers*), I’ll come and see you whenever I’m over there for a conference. Apparently, there’s a conference in Brighton that I might go to… some time… with sufficient funding.
I forget what it is, though, but I’ll be saving my money for world travels, etc.
I thought of you earlier when I had my afternoon tea. Brandon made faces when he tried his tea with milk, but ended up liking it in the end.
I’m going to be in Huntsville next weekend. My mom has a knitting group that meets at Old Town on Sunday morning (I think). You should come if you’re not doing church. Anyway, I’ll call you to see what you’re up to.
Ta!
